Police broke blockades at French fuel depots on Wednesday and skirmished with youths as the government warned of economic damage from prolonged strikes against its pensions reform. More tear gas was fired and cars burned in Lyon and suburbs of Paris in a third day of minor riots, a day after nationwide protests brought a million people into the street.Duration: 02:05

  • @sheepeasy i'm assuming you will never understand these lazy, work-shy bastards have a bigger rentability than british workers (oecd statistics), and that they are your equals, fighting a battle your citizens have lost for themselves...

instead of wanting us to go down to your level of living why don't you instead struggle to upgrade yours?

my company hasn't raised my function's salary in over 25years, yet, my boss's increased 500% in 5 years...and you call us lazy?

    u got it all wrong...

  • @AndrewMann552 You don't knew the French...we have strike every week here since a long time, we love protest for nothing, my high school was blocked all this week, because we did strike with some teachers, it's was nice for me I didn't want go to school..

French people have lot of social benefits and the others Europeans countries call us that we are lazy, because in many countries ppl work until 67 years,

but in 2010 France is still the 5th largest economy in the world and the 2de in Europe

  • @yohanntim my dear friend, i am french, i have been living in germany and in uk. I am very sorry to tell you that we don t have that much social benefits as we make us beleive.

also, in uk we are working till 65. Actually the law is changing now about this.

And don t worry, they don t think that we are lazy, often they envy us because we are able to fight and protect our right.!

  • Well the hammer is coming down people. And who pays for corruption? The people. The people always pay for the big pigs at the top. WTF are you going to do about it?

Look at America; certain people in the government aided 9/11 for war profit - the wars for utter lies in Afghan/Iraq preceeded to suck round a trillion out of us Americans. Then Bush gave us all checks for a couple hundred dollars while at the same time doubling the gas prices.

    IT IS ALL A SCAM

    FEDERAL RESERVE

    REVOLT

  • government is there to govern not to rule and dictate. the media in cohoots with the government seem to have won here again, every liberty you have was fought for. all the tax you paid for to retire while you can still enjoy it. the government has spent on feeding and housing the world. its too late now, you were sleeping, and you woke too late. we are all now slaves and debt is our chains, credit our master

  • Damn france muslims are doing it shit and foolish young boys (students) without their own brain are helping them. Include your brain, foolish boys! you must destroj afro- and araboterrorists at your country

  • The french muslims are loving the situation, not for anything other than the threat sarkosy represents to out of control immigration from muslim countries. I thought about going to france for vacation but found it would be easier to go to northern africa to get the same experience. Only difference is that the muslims there are nice ppl
