  • HEY! I've been looking for you! I too make 3D games, lately, I've been working on an online FPS with 25 different guns. I am in need of 3D collision scripts (like your bullets hitting walls) I'm not new to this, I just haven't been able to figure out how to do this. Please respond!

  • @ACDCManCo Well for this game i used collision_line to calculate, if there was a wall in front of the bullet. But this didn't really work. So i think you are better of with move_contact_solid. If want to go even further i could mail you an example of ray-casting.

  • Really cool. When I buy the full version of gamemaker 8 3d, I'm going to try and make a skyrim rip-off.

  • @smokebombx That would be great, I'm eager to learn more on physics, especially pertaining to 3d bullets. It's been an extremely difficult subject for me and many of my peers!

  • You should make a tutorial on how to make a game so impressive.

  • @MrPimpmanpimp its very difficult to make a game that doesn't have some amount of lag, due to the fact that game makers architecture is more based upon making 2 dimensional games rather than first person, so a 1st person would hog up more resources than a 2 or 3d game. Though also depending the users computer.
