"We have the roses, we just need the bread!" Filmmaker Lorre Fritchy's shout-out from the Centennial Celebration of the Bread & Roses Textile Strike of 1912, an event that inspired her independent feature film in-development, MILLIES. The story follows a bankrupt, modern-day mill owner who is visited by ghosts of mill strikers who discover *her* uncertain future threatens *their* historic past. The movie is seeking funding (aka visionaries, entrepreneurs, pioneers, adventurers and everyday folks) to become a reality.
