@skill4ev Look at history: In 1975 NHL went to 4 rounds in playoffs & only Champion to win 4 road series was 1995 Devils. 1995 strike cut regular season down to 48 games & NJ were hardly a legit #6 seed in East Conf (more like #3). In 2003, 2004, & 2006 West Conf teams in Cup Finals were trying to win 4 road playoff series & that just does not happen. Yet each of those 3 Cup Finals went 7 games & that indicates East Conf teams who won those Cups were best teams but less than dominant.

I was glad to see Andreychuk win Cup, but you gotta wonder if TB still would have won had #7 Mon not upset #2 Bos in 1st round because Bolts would have played Phi and then either Bos or Tor. Instead, TB easily won rounds 1 & 2 vs Isles & Habs, Flyers & Leafs beat each other to a pulp in round 2, & Bolts outlasted Phi in Game 7 of Conf Final. Flames upset #1 Wings, #2 Sharks, & #3 Nucks to get to Final. TB might have been worn out by a top seed from Western Conf rather than insurgent Calgary.

Classic game. Refs were a bit biased but still. Too bad we wont see Bulin Wall and the Kipper at the finals ever again.

The 1994 Vancouver Canucks Team deserved the stanley cup, the 2011 team is a big question mark. The 94 canucks had class players like Trevor Linden, the 2011 team is a big question mark. The Canucks could have tied game 7 in 1994 but Nathan Lafayette hit the post, the 2011 team a big question mark. Sorry Canucks no cup in 2011 maybe 2012 now you know how Ottawa, Edmonton, and Calgary feels.

Vancouver has no toughness and no grit. It almost got them in the 1st round, and it came back to get them in the Finals in Game 7.
