The wisdom of the Chinese people is embodied in their traditional architecture - a technology that has withstood the test of time.
In order to regain our place in the universe, traditional Chinese architecture MUST NOT be abandoned, for without our ancestors' wisdom as foundation, we can build no future!
We must relearn this wisdom and use it as the seed for an intellectual revolution or renaissance.
Hint: Google "phi" - the Golden Ratio.

@xxHotSpicyxx that sword is not a miao dao but in fact, looks and i reckon is a goose-quill sabre. In addition the chinese use these curve swords as standard issue for their infantry because it is easier to train and does not require much skill like bows to crossbows. However, skilled generals use jians

@ChineseMonstah No, they just weren't as popular back then. They had them since the Han dynasty.

@SierraHawkProduction VERY True! I was reading on Wikipedia the other day, it said that Japanese lords used to call Chinese swords men to their country and pay them for teaching the lords katana-forging and differential hardening methods. Although the shape of the katana (uchigatana) is taken from the much longer Tachi already in service of Japanese army those days.
what is the sword at 1:10? it looks like katana but im not sure

@ChineseMonstah That would be a Miao Dao, which was an adaptation of the Japanese Katana the Japanese pirates used to when they were pillaging the coast of Ming China. It is interesting, because the Katana traces its origin to the Chinese Tang Swords, and the Miao Dao is adapted from the Katana, which effectively makes it a 3rd generation weapon :). You can find more information plus actual demonstration of this sword and its techniques by youtubing "Chinese Long Sword Ancient Techniques" :D

@xxHotSpicyxx I do hope you know the Katana is actually developed from the Tang Sword, it was a gift by the emperor of Tang to the emperor of Japan.

@SierraHawkProduction Yes, I am aware of that, I acknowledged the Katana's roots in the video info.
