  • i was a fan of this band in 1982 and still am

  • i google the parramatta jail and it is still operational it can hold approx 600 it is a medium class jail opened in 1842 it closed in 1918-1922 and for short time closed again in 1997-1998 but as far as i know it is still open and operational

  • from the album "Canned Rock" from a concert held at the Parramatta Gaol to raise funds for the then " international year of the child 1979 " organized by double jay. A great album.

    My local pub is around the corner from the gaol.

    Ive been inside as a visitor and it wasn't that pretty
