Some tips, since you asked:
1. The link gun's beam attack is better close range; never fire the plasma bursts in a straight line. Move side to side while spraying green death.
2. Use of the minigun in close quarters is suicide. Use it as a medium, to long range attack weapon. (Minigun vs. Flak Cannon = Run from Flak Cannon)
3. If you are going to use the assault rifle, get in close and put a grenade in their face, then finish with main fire.
4. Jump less, aim more. ; )
