The easiest way to disarm them is to jump on them! If your are heavy enough then you can actually break it without it going BOOM! So cool right? (lol jk)

After working with landmine removal ....there are no landmines that detonate when you remove pressure...they are all instantaneous.....only in Hollywood and Bollywood do landmines explode after pressure is removed...allowing one to freez on a mine gives then opportunity to warn others and most likely defuze it.

I'm not a "anti-mine" zealot..they have their purpose and can be used to save both combatants and non-combatants by area denial...but sadly all too many are active after the fight.

It would be interesting if they developed a landmine with an inbuilt "use by date" ...that is, they are only dangerous for a specified period.

you take your foot of the mine, it shoots the explosive shell up and than it explodes.

these mines are activated by pressure removal right?
