**My 3rd Music Tribute Video for Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, this time for their movie "Boom" By Tennessee Williams**

About Elizabeth and Richard:
"Boom" is their 8th film together after "The Comedians" and was shot back in 1968.

Summery of the movie:
"The incredibly rich writer Sissy Goforth lives alone with her servants and nurses on the top of a Mediterranean island, on which she makes her own rules. Her days consist of dictating her autobiography and begging for injections. Here comes Chris Flanders, a.k.a. the angel of death - he has the weird habit of paying visit to unfortunate ladies shortly before their death. Sissy dresses him like a Japanese warrior, and he contemplates in that outfit the waves breaking against the rocks below. The witch of Capri - a neighbour - is invited to share their dinner, a larger than life - and still moving - monster of the sea." (Summery is from imdb.com)

**I Dedicate this video first to my new good friend Karin and secondly to my Boyfriend Mixalis. I also dedicate it to all Elizabeth and Richard Fans **

  • I saw this movie when it first came out in the summer of 1968, in San Antonio, Texas. Managed to find a bootleg dvd about a year ago. Synchronicity: When I first came (for 6 months) to Kauai in 1971, I met Horward Taylor, Liz Taylor's brother, who played the guy on the boat who threw Burton's stuff in the water. I used to describe and quote the last scene in the movie when I was romancing the ladies. Like Chris Flanders, my degree was in Philosophy and I've written poetry. Back on Kauai.

  • This is a film version of The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here, is it? I'd love to see the film as I'm a big Tennessee Williams fan.

  • Heavens to Murgatroid! Thanks for posting! Very interesting. The roles played in the movie by Taylor and Burron (whose given last name was Jenkins) were played on Broadway by Tallulah Bankhead and Tab Hunter. And Noel Coward's character in the film is called "The Witch of Capri". Odd...I thought a male witch was a warlock. No matter...it's a cool clip !!!

  • this is such a lovely lovely editing...just awesome.. wish I could watch this movie, you made me so excited about it :) :/

  • Beautiful job done here. I never saw the movie but I remain fascinated by "Liz & Dick" to this day. They were, to me, the Hollywood's greatest love affair. Both beautiful and talented and passionate. I really love how the light reflects in her eyes at the end. I know a man who saw Elizabeth many, many years ago when she was in town to film a movie, and he said that she had no makeup on at all but was still stunningly beautiful.

  • Do you remember Michael Dunn, the dwarf who appeared in Boom with Elizabeth Taylor? There is a really good biography out about Michael. It is called The Big Life of a Little Man: Michael Dunn Remembered and it is available at amazon.com for those of you who are interested in a great read about an amazing man. Rest in peace, Ms. Taylor.

  • Thank you Elizabeth Taylor.RIP.

  • @YiotaPam Fantastic video, i remember an incredible close up to Liz eyes.
