@nayr87 Yes it is Phillipine Mars. It has the white tail, Hawaii Mars has the Red Tail. As you can see from all of the other videos on youtube of Hawaii Mars.... I wonder if this is the only video on Youtube of Phillipine Mars flying? She's been stuck on land for a few years now.... still operational, but no work. :(

There is absolutely nothing wrong with anything here! I'm a Multi-Engine Seaplane rated ATP and the only thing wrong is the ignorance of the photographer. What exactly was 'stupid' here??

It looks like it is the Philippine. In one video I watched it said the Hawaii is also called "Red Tail" because of the red tail. Lot of info on the tankers on the Coulson site.

@retsisruoydekcufi -it's one more distraction the pilot doesn't need. The job is already dangerous enough without people making it more so.

lol - I think he's asking if it's the Philippine Mars or the Hawaii Mars. Those are the two survivors of the Martin Mars family of five made. Lost are the Marshall Mars, burned down on the water at Hawaii, the Marianas Mars crashing in BC in '61 and the Caroline Mars lost in a storm while dry parked in BC.
