The 2012 Nissan GT-R R35 has 540 HP, and 632 ft/lb of Torque, It has less then half of a Stock 2009 SSC Ultimate Aero TT which has 1287HP at 1305 ft/lb of Torque, and the SSC is possible to go over 273 MPH IF there was a stretch of road long to go that fast! And the GT-R is able to go at a top speed of about 195 MPH, but the Alpha 12 GT-R is also capable of doing a 0-60 mph time of 2.1 seconds! Ultimate Aero TT takes 2.8 for it to hit 60 MPH. But really i like both of these Super Cars! Agree?

That mindset is the one of the things I hate about Top Gear UK, they can never acknowledge the nicer things about certain American cars. They lied and tried to present the GT500 as a ripoff due to not having 500whp on a dyno, knowing damn well that no manufacturers rates horsepower at the wheels. They didn't acknowledge the Z06 or ZR1 as good cars, nor any American car.

I think it is dishonest journalism and unprofessional the way that they manipulate the facts.

the Ultimate Aero is STILL better than the veyron. an owner of both the veyron and ssc said the ssc has a smoother and better ride. and not only can the ssc pull a 1.05G skidpad (veyron can't{lotus elise and porsche 911 gt2 has a 1.03G pad}) it can do a 73mph slalom to the veyrons 68mph slalom

P.S. the ultimate aero gets 18/27 city and highway fuel mileage while the veyron gets 7/10 city/highway

I'm sure you remember, but Jeremy did pretty much nothing but complain the entire time he owned the Ford GT. He said the Z06 was pretty much a bad car due to tire noise of all things, and even though he had a ton of fun when he took the ZR1 to the salt flats, the next episode he said he felt the ZR1 was built by rednecks in a barn and was poor quality so he would never buy one.

Like I said, Top Gear UK employs dishonest journalism, Hammond is the only one that even gives US cars a chance.

I know what you mean, but jeremy clarkson bought a Ford GT, and he loved the Corvette ZR1. But apart from that yeah, what you said is true.

MasterX117, they should take the Aero up to the upper peninsula in Michigan, highway 28 has a stretch of 25 miles that's dead straight
