@CelesteK : There WAS an avalanche in "The Ballad of Casey McPhee", where Cookie Monster played a railroad engineer. Cookie had to eat his way through the snowslide to get his trainload of goodies to a children's party. Still, your observation is generally right: the Muppet universe has natural disasters only when the story calls for one.

Little does Grover know it, but when it comes to mountains, any kind of noise, including echoes, is one of the leading causes of one of nature's disastrous forces -- namely an "AVALANCHE"!!!!
