Very Turbulent Landing In Indianapolis

Going From Atlanta To Indianapolis. Crosswinds Were Coming From The West At 68 MPH. Temperature: 23 Degrees F. Wind Chill: 2 Degrees F. Aircraft: Delta Airlines A320. Flight Time: 1 Hour 7 Minutes.

I was in Indianapolis over the holidays and I remember this day. You say that "crosswinds were coming from the west at 68 MPH".... you landed on Rwy 23 Left which is only 4 degrees off the nose....hardly a crosswind. No civilian airliner is certified to land in more than 30 to 35 Kts of crosswind. You had a very string and gusty wind almost right down the runway and other then the bumps and wind generated turbulence, this was nothing but a routine uneventful landing, not a "you can make it" one

@congaleader2000 Were you on this flight? If you had been, you would have shit your pants. 17 minutes after our flight landed, the skies completely unleashed their fury, which would explain why your flight was UN-eventful. Like I said before, the image stabilization was on, so you can not see the actual rocking of the plane.

@emersondavis again.....68 MPH crosswind??? WRONG. "you can make it, you can make it...." over dramatic! Dude I fly for a living, relax. Get out and fly more and you will realize this was just another day at the park! Cheers!!!! :)
