The Statler Brothers - Wonderful Words Of Life

Tremendous version of this wonderful old Christian Hymn. This Hymn was written by Phillip Paul Bliss from Pennsylvania. The date is not known. Mr. Bliss lived from 1838 until 1876. He and his wife died in a train wreck. His bio is really worth reading. The Mills Brothers did a mega job with this back in the 40's or 50's. Fantastic.

A wonderful hymn, a beautiful melody and such amazing voices of singers!

I heard about this group in the hard years behind the Iron Curtain in the Soviet Union.

One day I received a gift - a cassette from my friends in the U.S. What a pity that nobody in the Soviet Union did not know this amazing group! I could not find these records in any russian store for 25 years...

Tak, mogę odbierać pocztę z zagranicy.

I lepiej komunikować się w języku angielskim, rosyjskim. W języku polskim - trudno.

Однажды я получил подарок - кассету от моих друзей из США. Как жаль что никто в СССР не знал об этой удивительной группе! Я не мог отыскать их записи ни в одном русском магазине в течение 25 лет...
