Jorge it does that because diesels have a glow plug that heats the block to keep the diesel and trany warm so it starts if it has 360 days of heat and 5 days of exstream cold it messes up the glow plug

Check the volts on the ficm, add rev-x to the oil and get rid of that programmer and airfilter ur using

Had the same problem with mine it was a bad ficm now is starts good in cold weather with plugging it in

Plain and simple your not getting constant fuel!!!! Its a bad pump!!! Or possibly oiil injector pressure control sensor

@bobcat198423 then how come once its warm it runs flawlessly its only on start up when its cold it does this

you have injector stiction, or a high pressure oil problem

@ericeddy1976 probably right, cuz we added way to much lucas oil stabalizer in our last oil change but we dont own this truck any more but maybe others will learn from this.
