Ashkenazy's interpretation is the best. Everyone else plays it too fast in my opinion and don't feel the music like he does.

Thank you :) Ashkenazy is undoubtedly one of my favourite performers. I was lucky enough to see him live in Zurich a few years ago when he played Rachmaninov.

At 0:26 it's almost hard to listen to it's so incredibly beautiful. I just love the melody in this nocturne. Maybe I will learn this next after No.20 :)

I really love this piece. I fell in love with it right away. I only recently discovered Ashkenazy through his interpretation of Nocturne Op.55 No.1 from Chopin and loved is light touch
