This goes to show that the perfect song would in all probability have never been made, had it not been for God's influence in this incidence.

I love satriani, But just because the other song uses the same chords, it's a bit over the top to sue, they're clearly different songs, just with the same chords, many, Many songs do the same thing

Coldplay is just awful, and Satriani's tune sounds fit for a "Sonic the Hedgehog" videogame. I'm not denying that Satriani is a good musician, just not my cup of tea.
-
I mean, in this video, its obvious that the pitch was bended of Coldplay's song, or else it wouldn't have sounded the same.

Sorry, but english isnt my native lenguage.
I only say, satriani is better for me.
I dont like lying musicians.
-
Coldplay version isnt better, nothing to be thankfull.

@tomaspepino Learn how to spell before trying to form an opinion.

@MerloHardRock They copied one single motif, not the whole song? I still think coldplay made a better song out of satriani's motif. he should be thankful
-
isnt better, u like it more, but satriani version is 100% mor eimaginative
@ColdplayIsMyWorld - Viva la vida was recorded in 2007. If I Could Fly was recorded in 2004, 3 years before. Took 7 years to write and was dedicated to his wife. That is one of the big reasons to the lawsuit. It is a very special song for Joe. The money paid by Coldplay to Joe was given to charity. Joe never wanted Coldplay money, was only a matter of principles.

@carola613 Lol I won't even bother replying to your comments anymore. You talk like a 10 year old fangirl who knows nothing about music. Just go listen to your shitty bands and stop talking shit about a man that knows more about music than all of the retards from Coldplay together.
