  • do you have the Ipad 1 or the ipad 2?

  • @revowild iPad 1 but wish I had the iPad 2 for it's quicker processor. iPad 1 does work well but not for Jeppesen Flight Deck.

  • Looks like a fun adventure to me. :)

  • @trekkerj It was.. Thanks.

  • I'm guessing reichec was referring to the exciting arrival at N07. We departed with a forecast that the destination would be VFR. Even checking with Flight Watch enroute less than an hour before the arrival indicated it would be VFR conditions, with no mention of storms.

  • sexy legs PIC hahah

  • @mocatx In the US we don't have "Night Ratings" just night currency (3 takeoffs and full stop landings in 90 days) to cary passengers. We are instrument rated as well.

  • Finished watching the vid well done. reichec i fly in Ireland where the weather changes often and quickly, sometimes not mater what your preparations you have to deal with it and he did.

  • Quick plane, Great Vid my brother lives in Chicago. I take it you are night rated.

  • @reichec - that was text book. First approach had issues, made good decision very early to go around. Second approach was gusty but that is what pops up sometimes. You have to remember that this is a very high performance aircraft flying in a high density altitude, heavy configuration in gusty conditions. Excellent job.

I left Chicago one day in my 182. Sunny day, calm predicted the entire way. Was heading to Spirit in St. Louis. On approach experienced gusts up to 34kts.

    it happens.
