just mucking around in my XR6 turbo not a hell of a lot done to it just making 242rwkw but still gets up n boogies! Before you all start pointing it out yes i know 2 of my guages dont work ive been too lazy to connect them up lol

  • wats a stock xr6t auto getten on the 1/4? And wat mods wud be recomended for a budget of 5000? wanting at least a mid 13 if this possible

    ive only spent about 7k on this thing and thats including $2800 for an auto rebuild with stally and ive run a 12.3 @ 119mph in full street trim. .

  • got em from autobarn...theyr autometer cobalt gauges....from memory they were about $150 each.

  • both the 6sp gearboxes are tough units. It just depends what ur gona use the car for as a daily driver/1/4mile id go the zf auto. as something ur gona take to the track id get the manual. There is a bf mk2 with the zf auto puttin out around 420rwkw on a stock transmission and unopened motor.

  • lol DM0121 for starters 5 speed manual gearboxes are no good for anything over 300rwkw the 6 speeds are sick as BUT the a built 4spd or 6spd auto kains any of the manual setups

  • @940987530475 Hey dude if you really just want a car that your going to cruise in go with an Automatic. But honestly form experience with any turbo car you would want more feel and to be in control so I would definatly go with the Manual

  • Half of what I just posted got cut off. Anyway... Better resale value for sure, stronger engine internals, better suspension. An Xr 6 t will always just be an Xr 6 t. I just picked my FG F6 up for $42,600 with 45,000 km 4 new tyres and 8 months rego left... Will still be worth 40 grand with 80,000km on the clock. If you can afford it, go the FPV! Much better asset I think. Regards matt.

  • I had the choice of a FG XR6t but I have just bought an FG F6 today in a manual(so excited) lol. I was inclined to get the F6 as though ever since they came out in 2002 as a BA, it was my dream car. So now I am 20 and not 11 I understood what was a better option for my money's worth. I figured that by buying a XR 6 t the resale value is terrible with a few k's and after all they are quite basic and common as. At least with the F6 they are built with a number, better brakes, better looks, better

  • whats the price difference between a xr6t and a fpv f6 and is it worth getting the the f6 over the xr6t not including price

  • without that full tank of petrol you had there you would of made it there quicker
