You should know this band on their earlier eps and this first album was very influenced by Old school Real Screamo bands as "Saetia" and "Orchid"

@Amnmwp28 Dude, you do realize that the lead (clean) singer does the vast majority of the screaming in all of their songs...right?! Knowing that, you have to admit that it is rather impressive that he can go from scream to clean vocals without any issues. Check them out live, and they will amaze you man!

So ive listen to a lot of Silverstein songs sitting here, Good instrumental and lyrics and Lead vocals but the uniformed screaming irritates me, Other than that an all around good band if they could drop the untalented screamer. I'm just saying,

This is my honest opinion on this band. This band is awesome. I would consider this post-hardcore but you don't have too. I HATE when people say this is "emo" music or slit cutting music. This music is just filled with emotion. The songs that Silverstein make is based on what they went through. The "cutting" lyrics in their songs are just words to relate to. People get to literal on this, when really this is just music. It's music that you can relate to whether you happy or sad.
