this is a scale of the biggest dinos. to ever walked the earth

# 11 is Carnotaurus - 7.5 m - 2 ton - L. Jurrasic
This animal had a similar body size to Allosaurus but a much shorter tail, hence its deceptive size when the lengths of the two animals are given. In this case, comparison of body-weights gives a better idea of their relationship.

# 10 Allosaurus - 11 m - 3.5 ton - L. Jurassic
Although reaching a length of 11 metres,or more this figure gives a deceptive idea of its size due its unusually long tail which accounts for two-thirds of its entire length

# 9 Suchomimus - 11 m - 3.5 ton
A close relative of Spinosaurus but with a much less developed sail on its back. It has a long, slender crocile-like jaw and was quite possibly a fish-eater like its cousin Baryonxy.

# 8 Acrocanthosaurus - 12 m
4 ton - E. Cret
This animal was an Allosaur and, as such, had the long tail associated with them. However, it was notable for its spines along its back

# 7 Torvosaurus - 12 m - 3.5 ton
Another of the longest animals ever discovered. It has a more slender body than Tyrannosaurus. Torvosaurus is a close relative of Megalosaurus, which is a couple of metres shorter. The two share certain charcateristics of the hip bones

# 6 Mapusaurus 12.5 m - 5 ton - L. Cret
A dinosaur from Argentina which is part of the Charcharodontosauridae family however it is a close relative of Giganotosaurus rather than Charcharadontosaurus itself

# 5 Tyrannotitan ?14 m - ?7.5 ton - Cret
This is a newly discovered dinosaur about which little is known. Size estimates range from 13.7m to 15.2m so it could yet be the largest known carnivore of all time. It is of the Carcharodontosauridae family also,

# 4 Tyrannosaurus - 12.8 m - 7.5 ton - L. Cret
Once the undisputed heavyweight champion. T rex is not the longest, but still one of the most heavily-built. However, a recent find suggests that T rex might still claim the title back. A skeleton has been discovered which suggestes a specimen nearly 10% bigger than the largest known T rex
at 47 ft or 14m

# 3 Carcharodontosaurus 13.5 m - 7.5 ton - E. & L. Cret
The slightly smaller African cousin of Giganotosaurus. Smaller versions were known for decades but a recent skull 5' 4" in length had created a new estimation for the size of this animal.

# 2 Giganotosaurus - 14 m - 8 ton
The new champion. Skeletons are incomplete and the estimates of the size might still fluctuate, but it does seem larger than T rex and its related Charcharodontosauridae, with the possible exception of Tyrannotitan

# 1
Spinosaurus - 15 m 7 ton - L. Cret
Another example of a false impression of size. Like Allosaurus its huge tail accounts for more than 50% of its body length. Also, its magnificent sail adds nearly 2 metres to its height.

  • This is the size comparison of the 4 largest carnivores

    4th: Tyrannosaurus Rex

    3rd : Giganotosaurus carolinii

    2nd : Charchardontosaurus

    1st : Spinosaurus aegypticus

Iam a rex fan just so you know thats why spino is 1st, k?

  • @RexRaptorSpino ok if you look at the new information t-rex in possition 3, it still very devatable but acoording to new information t-rex was biggest than giga. i just saying.

  • go to this site and see who is the king blip.tv/file/3963275/

  • i can't belie that spino was 18m long. There is not enoght evident for it we only have the the upper haw and lower haw 3 or 4 vertebrates some tall bones and claws. There no femur or lower bones nor metatarsal and hip bones, also no ribs and lower ribs, have been found. That not all the last book that i opened say that spino was from 18 to 20 m long and had 12 to 15tons that to mush for a any predatory dinosaurs well that it

  • @askadetra thats exactly wat i think. spino's mouth was made to lock on to its prey and with that being true it would use its 7 foot long arms to shred the throat of other carnivores. i think both charcha and spino could take on trex.

it would be amazing to see spino and charcha vs gigan and trex.

    tag team to the max

  • so, biggest is spino, second is giga, third is carcha, fourth is t rex. size and weapons matter much. giga and spino had serious weapons. long claws and shark teeth. spino had long mouth to grab and hold big pieces of meat and big arms to cause big wounds. sorry for my english
