@cyruseven75 eh, both regular pullups and kipping pullups are used for different things, and crossfit DOES do regular pullups, too, depending on the workout. also, kipping is a more functional movement that serves several purposes. you don't know what you're talking about. i actually can do regular pullups over kipping ones, as i find kipping ones hard. with those, you have to use your lats, arms, AND your core.

I realize there are functional benefits to kipping, sadly though many soccer mom WOD idiots get a gross misrepresentation of their health and strength by learning to kip and not do traditional pull ups. Since you called me an idiot here is your free assessment - you could be leaner in the midsection/low back, arms, shoulder areas. need more isolation work, arms more size & leanness
