R the keys back lit, no one ever talks about that on this note book for some reason! & if not, its a damn shame all that money u would think back lit key would be included!!

When i get enough money to buy one of these, I' trading my HP mini 110 netbook for this. It's freakin' amazing. I already LOVE HP's new design. THe whole curves and chicklet keyboard is amazing.

Well there isn't a recovery disc because Hp laptops/desktops already have a recovery partition that takes care of that and it also gives you the option to burn a set for yourself as well. That's why I like Hp computers, because if you tend to lose those recovery discs, you would have that recovery partition built into your laptop.

Good point. Consumers will like it. The notebook comes with a recovery CD maker as well. The only bad thing is that you lose hard drive space.

Depends if you prefer using Mac OS X or Windows, because honestly the Envy is more powerful than a Macbook Pro specs wise, yet some people (like me) prefer Mac OS X more than Windows.

Haha, I'm personally waiting for new Macbook Pros to come out too. I hope the Envy will make Apple rethink the price they charge for their Macbook Pros. Hope it's like what you said: in about a week.
