  • You need to get out of Mommys basement more. It was DEMOCRAT Richard Lamm who said old people had a duty to die and get out of the way. Oh, now that's empathy.

The purpose of government controlled health is to destroy any choice I have to get private insurance and leave politicians to decide if I am allowed treatment.. Please save the "No, No that's not true" trash.

I use my insurance all the time. My policy pays for what it covers and I pay the rest. Imagine that, me paying my bills.

  • Once again, the public option will NOT interfere with your private insurance in any way. Once again, quit listening to Glenn Beck.

I'm glad you pay your bills, but many of us also pay our bills and are still thrown into bankruptcy over an illness or injury. That's why Obama's reforming healthcare: this is one of the biggest contributors to our national debt...the one you Repubs continue to complain about (when you guys gave it to us under Bush).

    Any other dumb arguments?

  • Perhaps the Independent in my screen name somehow made you think I was a Republican.

I don't need to listen to anyone except Obama saying several times he wanted a single payer plan but it would take several year to destroy private insurance companies.

I know , I know, he said it several times but he changed his mind now so we can't believe what he said then.

  • Perhaps the "Independent" in your screen name is bullshit, Lou Dobbs. If you're independent then Bill O'Reilly is a moderate. And we all know that's bullshit.

Obama said what? Stop watching Fox News; they lied to you. If these health insurance compnaies insist on screwing us over, then maybe it really IS time for them to be destroyed. I'll take a "government takeover" anyday over a private insurance takeover.

  • Blue cross blue shield is the only best insurance company ever in the world. Mr. Ross is the best person the world beside BCBS. They rock and you suck msnbc. All you need to do is put a little of your money to turn those republicans around you fools. Put the green in front of them and at least they will give you a check or atleast blue cross will.

  • Pathetic. Overbite is just pathetic.... a discrace!

  • That Lamm dude was saying that repubs's plan was to die quicker. i could be confusing him with some other guy. still, go public option!

  • Well then you've been under a rock, Mr. Independent.

Government run health care systems around the world bring us countries with much higher life expectancies than the US. I know a girl in Australia who says that their universal health care system is great. Why can't we have one like that here? Because people would rather fear-monger and spread lies, and sheep like you would believe it.

And when did Obama say such a thing? You're a liar.

  • I have never heard of any private health insurance company anywhere in the world that was able to tell someone if they were "allowed" treatment.

Insurance companies can only tell you if the policy you purchased covers the cost of a treatment.

There are Government run health care systems all over the world that tell people every day they are not legally allowed treatment.

I refer you to Obama saying elderly people needing pace makers would only be given pain killers until they die.

  • I don't know who Richard Lamm is and I'm not even gonna attempt to defend such comments. He doesn't represent the Dems I was speaking of.

"No, No that's not true"...well, I dunno what else to say. That's what I usually say when something's bullshit. The purpose of TODAY'S private healthcare system is to let greedy health insurers decide if we are allowed treatment based on our income and our pre-existing conditions.
