I might get tons of hate for this, but I actually prefer Higurashi to umineko. Higurashi is more human, and shows more grief and despair than Umineko -in my view. Besides, Umineko gives me the feeling that I can't relate to its characters, since there are too many and they are not as well developed as these ones. I empathize a lot more with the Higurashi charas. Only watching this vid leaves me with a huge lump in my throat. Not that Umineko's not great but... just not as great. God :'(

No matter what, it's all psychology, and it's understandable. Miyo, who almost died in the orphanage, was saved by Takano Hifumi. Naturally, she ended up treating Hifumi as her only reason for living, and so because of that kind of upbringing, she was taught to become ruthless and cruel just to reach her goals of making Hifumi proud. It's a sad, sad thing.

If you think about Takano's life, it is sad. What would her life be if she actually escaped from that orphange? No matter how sad her life was, there was no need for her to such a bitch though...(no offense to anyone)

I like how they introduce the characters in pairs in this one, it's somehow heart warming, knowing that they're not alone <3

Here rika looks more mature, and very beautiful too

Wait... I played the VN... But the ending is based on the Anime isn't it?
I wonder if the last phrase says this "We can be even more happy than this, ???"

Most epic Tomitake flash moment near the end.
