  • @PompaTG If this happens to you, then just switch the dial back to inflate for 1-2 seconds then turn it off. Go to the back of the air bed and start to roll the bed up from the back towards the pump. This will push the air to the pump and then you can turn the dial to deflate and turn it on. This happens to me occasionally and I admit, it's a pain. It sure does beat laying on the bed trying to push the air out of a small hole, however.

  • @PanGrimm Doing just that results in the mattress *almost* being deflated, but there's still air in it when the pump starts sucking in part of the mattress, and you can't roll it up properly. That's happened with all of the four intex mattresses I've seen. But thanks for the insult.

  • Just FYI, these are a PITA to deflate.

  • Do you know if you can just inflate the top chamber for camping or do you always have to inflate the entire bed?

  • Thanks, very nice information ;-) I look forward to getting my queen Downy air bed soon.
