Golden Fleece Watercolor Brushes: http://bit.ly/fSZyvw
http://www.cheapjoes.com -- Welcome to Cheap Joe's Test Studio!
Today I'm going to tell you about a workhorse of a brush--one that we've had for a long time. We created this brush many, many years ago and it's been our best-selling brush for years. Still one of our best-selling watercolor brushes. It's called Golden Fleece. Let me show you why I think it's such a good brush.
The Golden Fleece is one of the first brushes that we produced with our own name on it and it's been one of the best-selling brushes we've ever had--still is. Because it's such a durable brush and it just lasts forever you can practically not wear it out. It holds a great point, the rounds come to a wonderful point, and because it is nylon, they keep going back to that point. Sometimes the points will turn over on a brush and when that happens, all you have to do is take a little liquid soap, fill it up with it, and re-point it with your fingers and leave it that way for a couple of days and it will hold that shape for you again. Some people stick them in boiling water for 3 or 4 seconds and then straighten them out, but the soap usually works just fine.
The brush cuts a really clean edge. Now I've already activated a little color over here, and I'm going to pick up a little bit of this and come across to show you. Look at that. If you pick it up easily on your palette, then just let those colors mix itself on the page.
I love doing this and the Golden Fleece is a great brush. This is the 1.5" Flat with the round handle that makes it really nice to handle. This is the 1.5" Flat with the flat handle that I also like to use, especially to put in big washes with.
They come in every size and shape and that's the Golden Fleece Brush--a great little brush.
