  • I may be nuts, but that's not why I was standing on the side of a ravine playing in the wind. That may be one of the saner things I've done.

  • Why else would you be standing there? Oh, nevermind. Whatever you were doing, it took chutzpah.

  • Fabulous, Tom. It was a great hike. What was that lovely music during the montage at the end? Surely captures the poetry of that trip -- great friends and Mother Nature combined.

  • Appalachian Spring by Aaron Copeland, which is always running through my head on a hike in the mountains.

Weird username, you seem more like a nancywalker.

  • Very nice, Tom.

Although, it was a bit scary in the windy parts. This could be because I am watching it outside and there was also some wind and I was so engrossed in the clip that I feared falling off the mountain when the worst that could happen to me is that I fall off of this bench.

Being above the clouds reminds me of Cloud City. Y'know? From Star Wars?

  • Oddly enough I fear heights and falling off mountains too. Go figure. I thought my friend Richard (who is standing on the edge of a ravine and playing in the wind) was nuts.

Yes, it was Cloud City, but without the city part.

  • The day we hiked the ridge was eerily calm, but the clouds kept creeping up the slopes from the valley and sometimes shot up like geysers. It was fantastic.

  • Wow...that scenery is beautiful...

  • It was, we spent the better part of two days walking on clouds. Thanks!
