I have been listening to Whitney live since I was child I know her range, and its unlimited. Remember Whitney is the true soprano, Mariah is an controalto. Whitney range is higher cause she is a soprano, its easy for her to hit notes 5th, 6th, 7th octave, she is sfagato!

She started it without vibrato, then with vibrato in head, and ended the note with a very high whistle note. She did that on purpose she was in her element. That note is at least E7!!!
