moving to fast better soil if he would slow down a little
-
bet that would till a lot better if you went a lot slower.

Love those front end weights, jq730d. How much weight do those add? I need to get some like that for my Kubota BX2350. Mike

@jq730d Deja vu, seems like I saw that same comment by catonmtn somewhere before. Strange, strange indeed. I guess making one uninformed comment was not enough.

Interesting you are willing to make a comment like that without knowing what the conditions were, what we were trying to accomplish, what we were going to plant and so on. By the way - you KNOW not all tillers have the same shaft speed? This one really spins fast - forcing you to move quicker with it - otherwise you have a dust bowl to plant in with the attendant crusting etc.

The weights are 40# apiece I think. Retail about $1.00 a pound. For a comparison back in the late 60's when I worked on machinery for a living we sold new 4020's field ready for about $1.00 a pound which was less than the 2305 sells for now!

do you think kubota is better?

@salamonetalton
I have no idea. I have a long history with JD, MF, IH, and AC but no Kubota - in fact I don't think I've ever heard one run so it's a question I can't answer.

You said you made a mounting step. Does it show on any of your videos? I have very old knees ( one meat and one metal )
