Tell that to Stew in person and I'm sure he'd be glad to hit you upside the head with a waster..or feder if you prefer..: )

Stew is a Senior Free Scholar in ARMA in both longsword and sword & buckler. Note that Stew's waster has a white and a black edge. Stew is performing ARMA's standard 16 cut drill in which the master cuts are used to make all possible cuts.

ARMA members practice the 16 cuts in both a standard drill and in a random order. Remember that ther are four line (+ x) giving you eight line ends. A true edge and false edge cut at each line end gives you 16 cuts. The master cuts give you those 16 cuts. Of course you have to drop the old windshield wiper Krump and use John Clements new Krump interpretation show on other videos here on YouTube.

Hey Ran, is the 16 cut drill a specific sequnce, or is it done in whatever order the scholar likes as long as all eight cut directions are made with Master Strikes?

by his movement... i understand these moves are hard but he doesnt impress me as others
He's not trying to impress, look good, or be graceful. What he is doing is demonstraiting several of Liechtenauer's mastercuts which are some of the most brutally efficient techniques in the German Longsword tradition.
