Alienware Startup Sound - Epic Piano

INSTRUCTIONS:

First Download and copy this to the System 32 directory

Right click on your desktop, and click "Create New Shortcut"

then copy and paste this..

C:\WINDOWS\system32\sndrec32.exe /embedding /play


Then click Next, and Name the shortcut whatever you want.


then right click on the sound file you downloaded, and click properties, copy the directory that shows up, next to where it says "Location" it looks like you can't copy the directory, but you can :-)

and then paste it to the end of what you already pasted into the shortcut.

So it should look something like this:


C:\WINDOWS\system32\sndrec32.exe /embedding /play C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\David's\Startup Sounds\Piano - All Systems are Functional.wav




NOW, click on your Start Menu, and look for "Startup" once you find it, double click on it

now, your startup folder will open up.


Then, Drag the shortcut you created, into this folder, or copy and paste, either one.


Now, when you restart your computer, the sound will play :-) (Sound Recorder wont pop up)

Ok, i downloaded both, put the sndrec32 in system 32 file, but i dont know how you get the music to go into the sendrec32 file. please help!

@keither725 all you gotta do is have the shortcut direct to the wav file, and put in those commands to have it play at startup without showing the actual program, so it's transparent.
