  • Wether you like him or not, there's no denying that this guy definitely brought something amazing to the world of music. He's a fucking genius.

That being said, if I could go back in time and see anything, him in concert would just be..Wow. What an experience.

  • I am so in love with him.

anyone who doesn't hasn't REALLY listened to him.

If you really research him you will realize he's god.

  • No this was Hollywood Bowl sonny...

  • I attended both the matinee show and the evening concert in June 1974 ...the last f--king day the high school...since then...seen La Bowie 30 times or more and had the honour of meeting him in the flesh twice...thanks for this sony...wish you could have been with me! Gem

  • @emmaviolinist Bowie's career worked like that... he isn't called the musical chameleon for nothing. With mixed results he's dipped into many genres over the years, and even when he doesn't get it quite right you're still compelled to listen because of what he's accomplished and who he is. The fact that the documentary went from, in your words, "David Bowie: outrageous freak" to "soul singer" at the end illustrates the nature of his diversity perfectly. It's a damn fine documentary if you ask me

  • @katiekentuckyyy I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I have been thru the drugs thing and it's no joke for anyone involved. To be honest I think we areb lucky to still have Bowie around. He's a clever man. He saw through the shallowness of LA/Hollywood and decamped in Berlin where he rented a not very posh flat in a poor district and lodged up with Iggy Pop. Thet even did their own shopping. And of course he wrote one of his best songs ever there Hereos.

  • My long-term boyfriend died recently of a drug overdose at age 22. He was a musician and he really idolized people like Pete Doherty and Lou Reed. When I see this I wish I could have gotten him into Bowie-- he's the real deal, and a good example of someone who was a true performance artist. He took it right to the edge in all possible ways, but he made it through in the end and he's still making art today. This period of Bowie's was amazing, but I'm thankful he came out of it.

  • muchas gracias por compartir esto

he tenido mucha suerte en vivir esta epoca como adolescente

    fue suerte?

  • I think I would've died of happiness and disbelief being in his presence at this time...or anytime

  • he's amazing I don't give a damn what the idiot teenagers think. He's awesome and if it weren't for him music would literally be different! Think about it. Love you with all my heart David..:)

  • @minimoose1

If only everyone thought the way you do. I like him and love what he did. Everyone around me hates him and don't give a damn what he did for music. As far as they're concerned Lady Gaga is the coolest thing ever. I hate her!

  • @kwijibomonkey No it's not! it's "Right".
