awesome 80s song. Sooooo new wave I love it.

FYI-In case no one knew--Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran was the producer of their songs.

@aldernagon3: John Punter, known for his work with such acts as Roxy Music and Brian Ferry, was producer on "Politics" and the followup LP, "Humanication". In fact, there's a lovely story about how Re-Flex were originally not going to record the song "Politics", but after hearing it Punter said his fee would be for them to record it! There were earlier and subsequent producers and, to the best of my knowledge, Duran Duran's Nick Rhodes was not amongst them, but I can ask the guys to be sure. :)

you may be right but I remember reading that Nick was involved with them, I think as a producer or something.

@icbr
The only time I ever heard this song was on Knight Rider (I was 5 when it came out) & that was a cover. It's a shame too since it has a great sound that is exemplery of that great decade. The same thing with Tears for Fears. They had so many great songs that did well in the UK that should have done better in the U.S. (especially that Mothers Talk US remix).
