Official song for MLK day

@MasamuneDate1 Although perhaps CocRosie may have also had the GLBT interpretation in mind, I think, as BelleNex said, they mainly are referring to the Native American prophecy, considering they are specifically using the term "rainbow warrior," are partly Native American, and were exposed to the culture because of their father as children.

"When the earth is ravaged and the animals are dying, a new tribe of people shall come unto the earth from many colors, classes, creeds, and who by their actions and deeds shall make the earth green again. They will be known as the warriors of the Rainbow."-Native American Prophecy. xx

Wow, Ed Edd Eddy theme!

@MasamuneDate1 The term Rainbow Warrior is a reference also to First Nation Legend regarding a prophecy regarding the end of times for current society and the unification of people of all nations to heal the earth. Rainbow Warriors = people of all tribes

@femalecadaver OR, you could think of it as a human pride song, instead of creating a barrier of further isolation for the gay community.
