It's time. We lulled them all into a sense of complacency. We're all gonna rise up 2012 and vote Libertarian, the true conservative vote. We'll leave the racist democrats and the neo-con republicans with mouths open. When I give the sign, spread the word.

@christo930 Also, do a search on YT for police brutality. There are hundreds of videos that people recorded of their local news station reporting on police brutality. But it isn't just police brutality, it's the militarization of the civilian police departments that are turning the US into a police state. I was absolutely shocked at what I found.

@mainsqueeze1977 Adolf Hitler talked about freedom endlessly. Mussolini described fascism as cooperation between the state and big business, a condition we have. It has a very strong executive branch (something that we have and is growing, every president claims more powers) and a police state, and we have a police state, just the "light" end of it. You missed the whole point, marriage, as is practiced today, is a fairly new idea.

Actually, plural marriage was not most common but it was certainly practiced and allowed often. True, but irrelevant as all plural marriages were between man and woman, never man/man or woman/woman. Fascism is not a scale, it (was) a clear-cut movement. And it was you who claimed Fascism espoused previous civilisation, a claim I refuted.

It's a strange definition of fascist then you espouse. The Fascist movement of Mussolini actually had no use for freedom or civlisation (some dreamed of burning down every library) - marriage indeed has been defined as a heterosexual union for eons, you denial notwithstanding. It is indeed universal. I did not talk about "falling in love" - you did.
