You'd think I was man-crazy in this episode, but this just goes to show how bizarre my life is on a daily basis. All this footage comes from one single day -- May 12, if you must know, the day after the dancing photoshoot. All I did was go to the Musée d'Orsay, Tuileries and Rue Clichy that day. What you see just happened without provocation.

Sorry, no music in this one. Just way too much talking. It'll get better, promise.

  • Very true. He's got a little bit of the Serge Gainsbourg vibe.

  • Protesting is what the french do best, after all, along with shrugging.

Although Jarvis is equally as impressive at that as any frenchman...

  • Thank you, m'dear. I'd just chalked it up to the French considering their museums part of the tourist industry, but come to think of it, there are no discounts or free passes for being a citizen, is there? And the museum passes to get into all their art spots around the city is ridiculously expensive. Yes, they should protest, knock over some cars. I'll start it off the next time I'm over, get them inspired.

  • Nice vids....anyway, don't you think it's incredible that in a country like France with a tax rate twice that of the UK, they have the cheek to CHARGE you to go into the Louvre? I couldn't believe it when I was told that, I thought I was being scammed or something.

All major UK museums and galleries are completely free, so why is there a charge for the Louvre? They need a mass sit-in or something...

  • Paris is great fun! I bet it'd be better as a group to share experiences, I just ended up being stuck alone all the time. Seeing Moulin Rouge was cool, it's just too bad going in and seeing the show was so bloody expensive! The Louvre is definitely more affordable, though it really is overwhelming. It's in my next part of the episode.

  • Enjoyed it. Thanks. Paris looks "fun". I think I'd see the moulin rouge just to say i'd seen it. I think i'd rather the Louvre though.
