An Opossum trying to Sneak along my Fence in Tampa, FL Possum Big Rat Like Scary Creature

Video and Pics I took of an Opossum in my backyard tonight. I used a bright 3 watt princeton apex tec pro headlamp for illumination and the digital camera I used is a Canon SX10 IS. Enjoy! And please feel free to leave any comments! Thanks! ;-)

That is "ONE" kickass camera!

I know Opossum, and I could see the amber discoloration on the sides of his neck that tells me it is a male that has been marking the area with the scent glands on his neck and cheek. That is phenomenal for a "NIGHT" shot at any distance .You can even see the stick-tights on his fur and see that they are green.

KEEP that cam!!!

I've spent most of my life in Colorado, so these Florida Opossum creatures are a new animal to me. lol. Lots of them here in Tampa. I've been researching them and the more I learn about them the more I like them. ;-)

i had to possums, Lucy and ET. I had them for two years. They only live for two years. I miss them. They were good to us.
