i think their current m6 coupe/convertible/ and 6 series M package grancoupe is the best exterior design look car BMW has ever built.

I have an E46 330i and the only performance item I have is the Signature Motoring performance CAI for about $160. The performance kit adds around 13.5HP on the dyno, sounds freaking great, and installs in under 30 minutes. Highly recommended.

Aside from the power gain, the SOUND is amazing at higher RPM but sounds normal in regular driving. I’m thinking about added high-flow exhaust next.

The new BMW series 3 is fantastic, elegant looking and very comfortable to drive. I love it :-)

In my opinion the new models of 5 and 6 series look better than the few previous models. The new M diesels are nice. However, what I agree with you is that they are trying too hard to oversell the M. I mean, M-model with M-body with M-engine that has M-twinturbo.. M this M that. It should be enough just to have the M badge, no need to "make it cheap".

Not sure what u mean about forgetting roots but i certainly disagree with you about the new 3 series. Its a beautiful car and perfect progression from the previous model. I guarantee you this 3 will be one of their best selling ever.
