Wash (the black dobermanish dog), and Zoe (the reddish coonhound rottie mix) playing in their first deep snow ever (both were born in Phoenix in late 2009. We moved to North Idaho in early 2010).

Our older dog Jayne (3 years old and just barely out of puppyhood himself) was... looking on with amusement shall we say.

Plus, he's lazy, and weighs 130lbs. He has a strong aversion to flopping ass over teakettle, and in that snow on that hill (it's a lot steeper than it looks) he almost certainly would have.

It was about 4 degrees Fahrenheit here, with drifted snow anywhere from 6-12" deep.

Taken with a Droid X (yes, seriously, a cell phone), during a multi-day blizzard in North Idaho, Thanksgiving 2010
