Crysis maxed out on my Sapphire 3870, running at native resolution 1440 x 900. Getting around 35 fps without Fraps, 19 - 30 fps with Fraps. This game looks amazing on high settings. The amount of detail put into the soldiers is astounding.

Specs: E8400 @ 3.82 ghz l Sapphire 3870 512mb GDDR4 @ 776/1126 l 4 GB DDR2 Ram @ 800 mhz l 250 GB 7200 rpm Western Digital HD l 630 Watts PSU l Antec 1200 l Asus P5Q SE/R

  • @MinimeDrummerBoi i know this is a very old video and it's quite a old card but will it run crysis 2? not crysis warhead

  • @narutohoe102 I don't know. Don't have the card anymore.

  • windows xp?

  • @alez15trw

    Yes

  • Ok, here's my specs:

    Intel Q8400 2.66ghz

    4GB DDR2 1066 Mhz

    Monitor Res: 1280x720

If I replaced the Radeon 4650 with the 3870, how well would crysis run maxed?

  • It should run fairly well. If you want exact numbers, download the Crysis benchmarking tool.

  • @Tomdogg449 it maybe because hes running dx9 not dx 10

  • @67CopperHead No it's not. The 4870 is miles ahead.

  • Really? Because my 4650 runs crysis at high with an average fps of 20. Yet I've seen the 4870 run it maxed no prob.

  • @Tomdogg449 4650 is faste rthen 4870 try to get a 4850x2 u will run good
