さよなら「出雲」 NNNニュース | Farewell to "Izumo" NNN news

このニュースはよくできていますね。余部鉄橋の空撮はすばらしいです。
This is the news that the blue train "Izumo Express" was abolished.

"Izumo" have 50years history, was running between tokyo and the San-in district on every night,in other words between the metropolis and the prople's hometown.

　
because of decrease of the passengers on these some years, at 17 March 2006 this day ,"Izumo" was abolished.

On this news,Passengers talk there memories about this train, and you can see some scenes of the last-train running.

San-in district have very beautiful nature and "Amarube-Railroad bridge"(Very beautiful brige! built 1912, One British designed.on 2009 will be took down...)

these situation touch the traveler's sentiment..

Why was the train abolished? is it replaced by the bullet train?

yes,because of rationalization this train was abolished.

and there coach was very old ,fare was very high,it was very slow...in addition there are another convenient communications,such as bullettrain, airplanes and buses...

like this night train, is being on the decrese year after year.

鉄道離れ、旅行離れ、外出離れが深刻な現代･･･

一日でも早く日本の完全復活とバブルの再来を願って、同時に数々­の夜行列車を違和感なく復活して欲しいモノです。
