  • @Activeskies Does the noise disappear when you shut down your computer? The computer making noise is very common with these monitors. I have the same problem with my HS80s. Do a search for 'yamaha hs80m computer noise' and you will find some threads on gearslutz and other places. The solution I found was to plug the monitors into a separate power outlet from the one your computer is switched into. By 'separate' I mean an outlet that is on another fusebox circuit. This may mean another room.
