First thing I did was export the master image out of Aperture.
Then opened it in Adobe Photoshop (Camera Raw) and changed a few of the white balance and saturation settings.
Then I went about trying to get rid of the annoying palm trying to get into the shot in the top left hand corner. I used the selection tool and fethered it so it all blended in properly.
Then I added some adjustment layers like curves, hue & sat, and levels. I changed the opacity and blending modes to change how it looked.
I also used layer masking to make the sky darker but not the girls or the car.
I tried using a few different photoshop actions that I've downloaded but wasn't really getting the look I wanted. So I ended up just playing around with adjustment layers till I got what I wanted.
Some more cloning and retouching things out and a little cropping and I'm ready to import back into Aperture. Then I export out a JPEG with my watermark on it and upload to my website.
All done. Enjoy!
