1966 Nova Super Sport Ls1 6spd gasser style

Car is an old drag car from early 70's. Car was back in the day a true 327, 4speed ,12 bolt car. I added straight axle front,ls1,6 speed. The ls1 has after market cam,heads,intake,etc. Car has a one off set of ls fender well headers with built in cut outs.

Dropping an LSx into a gasser type drag car, very clever. Very nice.

Are those FI rails? Where are the ignition coils?

What did you have to do to attach the engine to the frame rails?

fuel injected with throttle body,coils are under the car,made custom motor perches to mount engine

I like these, boy technology has changed. Now we have Stock suspended cars going 7's on a drag radials. Cool to see but nothing beats history comin to the burnout box. Nice car guy!
