Mot driven VTTC using 3CX2500f3 tube. The circuit used here is smiler to what a lot of people use for 833 tube coils. In this setup the 3Cx2500f3 is being driven well below it's maximum ratings.

  • How much pF is that wine bottle primary cap? Do you have big corona losses when VTTC is runing? Making myself the primary caps for the next VTTCs seems to be one idea to keep it around.

  • The wine bottle cap is about 1000 pf . losses are not too bad.

  • Where did you get the 3CX2500F3 tube?

  • Amazing coil, watching through your videos left me in awe. I only hope that my VTTC will produce sparks 1/10th the size of yours!

  • WOW! That is a big spark for a VTTC!!

  • In the voltage doubler you use russian cap КБГ-П ? (KBG-P) 3kv*2uf

  • Great job! Do you have a schematic? I bought a 833 to upgrade my dual 812 tube VTTC. The 833 is huge!!

  • good job :)!
