Most people with fully blown eating disorders do not do it for attention. This girl is a minority where that's concerned. Most of us want to disappear.

I've been fighting anorexia and alot of other demons for over 15 years...sorry this girl just pisses me off. I can see her sickness, but I can also see alot of attention seeking.

@99Somethings That's a generalization. That's like saying "being underweight can be a result of blah blah", no shit. Anything CAN BE a RESULT of something else. Nobody was saying it CAN'T be, but adamatova said being overweight IS an eating disorder, not that it can be. Jesus christ.

@fetusfacebb yes it is. Being overweight can be a result of a type of eating disorder. Many overweight people eat huge quantities of food because of how they are feeling. Usually because they are depressed.
