Volunteers Packing Boxes and Providing Food for our Neighbors in Need!

Each month, volunteers pack nearly 10,000 boxes with food for women, children and seniors as part of Second Harvest Heartland's Commodity Supplemental Food Program. These boxes of groceries are then distributed to over 9,000 low-income seniors and mothers with children. This program is one of the foundational services provided by Second Harvest Heartland, placing the food directly where it's needed most, but we wouldn't be able to do it without the support of volunteers!
