@jackieevanchofan54 That's really sad. I live in California and every time someone who has an accent comes into my work I insist on talking to them. I love hearing different accents and finding out where people come from. Too bad some of us Americans can be too judgemental.

Do the people who object to Becky’s accent really believe that Josh Groban should not sing “You Raise Me Up” because it’s not an American song? Should people whose first language is not English, never sing songs written in English because they would not have the right accent? Please try to enjoy listening to different singers and don’t expect them all to do an impersonation of the song’s first singer.
