I'm Firen Mah Lazah!
-
@1stFunnyBunny We were tourists from the US. My son was studying in KL and I was on business in Port Dickson. We met up and went to Taman Negara. The aborigines have an encampment in the area. I don't think there are very many of them in Malaysia as they were displaced by immigrants from Indonesia quite some time ago. My wife teaches fire by friction in survival courses at home and it was interesting to see their approach to the problem.

Respect for these natives keeping traditions alive
MrMapex2010 8 months ago
@MrMapex2010 The earlier inhabitants are small in number there and well outside of the power structure. On the other hand, their lifestyle seemed pretty enviable in some respects. What a nice place to live! They showed off a number of other skills using native materials. What impressed me the most was the speed and efficiency that they showed with those skills.
